12. For How Much You Teach Me

You teach me a lot.
You show me not to be afraid of who I am.
And lately you've been teaching me something a lot more important- to be unafraid to tell the truth.
Which is something I've always really struggled with. Seeing you do it is nice though. And seeing you accept me through everything I don't want anyone to know is a lot better.

11. You Always Give Me Your Everything

Literally. Everything. When we were sophomores in highschool and you tried to give me a heart-necklace for valentines day- and I said no- because I already had a boyfriend. Last year you got me an (ugly =P) but very expensive ring, and you were planning to propose. And when you proposed to me at 1:00 AM, on the first day of 2012, all you had was yourself to offer.

Which is all I've ever really wanted anyways. <3

10. You Put Up With Me

You put up with all my crap. And we both know I have a lot of it. And you've forgiven me for everything I've done, and I know you should have gotten REALLY mad at me- more than once. But you've always forgiven me for it- even when I have a tougher time forgiving you.

9. I Love Your Music Playing

No, you're not the best at it. And no, I'm not sure if you'll ever have a career with it... Again, I'm sure there are many other people that do it better, and yes, I know sometimes your playing frusterates you. The point is, I love when you do it. I love listening to you do it. You usually seem happy- scratch that, mellow- with a guitar in your hands. It's also really attractive. And I think as long as you don't try to do the nasally-weird thing you do with your voice sometimes, you actually have an okay singing voice, too.

I'm looking forward to hearing you for many years to come.

8. You Surprise Me

(Even though I played stupid last night, I didn't actually know what was going on until we turned towards Spring Creek. So there.)


A lot. When you went to see and make up with your dad, I was thoroughly surprised. I'm glad you did though- and I hope it ends up working out for us in the end. I also like how I learn new things about you all the time, even though I've known you for so long.

Like how Angel mentioned you'd gotten your head stuck in a bucket once. :)
Or that you tried to go LARPing once.

7. You're More Open Minded

Than people think you are.
Than me, even, sometimes.
This is something I've learned about you recently- maybe it's because I think it's also a new development with you. Whatever it is, I like it. And I'm glad I've noticed it... And that you have. I think it's important.

6. You Learn Quickly

I think you're smart, and capable. I know you don't think so, and I also know a lot of other people don't tend to see it in you. But I hope you realize that the important thing is that I DO see it in you, and hopefully, that someday you'll see it in yourself. You learn quickly, and you can pick up pretty much anything you want, whether it's physical or mental. Not everyone is that talented, trust me.
